By accessing or using the services of IdeaCraft Horizon West Decks, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use our deck building and outdoor construction services in Horizon West, FL and surrounding areas.

Services Provided

IdeaCraft Horizon West Decks provides professional deck construction, repair, and maintenance services. We offer custom deck design and installation, composite and wood deck construction, deck repairs and restoration, railing installation, staining and sealing, and related outdoor structure services.

All services are subject to availability and scheduling. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.

Estimates and Pricing

We provide free estimates for all deck projects. These estimates are based on the information you provide and our initial assessment. Final pricing may vary based on actual conditions discovered during the project, material costs, and any changes you request to the original scope of work.

All pricing is provided in good faith and is subject to change until a written contract is signed by both parties. Once signed, pricing will be honored according to the terms of the contract.

Payment Terms

Payment terms will be outlined in your service contract. Typically, we require a deposit before work begins, progress payments during the project, and final payment upon completion. Payment methods accepted include cash, check, and credit cards.

If payment is not received according to the agreed schedule, we reserve the right to pause work until payment is made. Late payments may be subject to additional fees as outlined in your contract.

Project Timeline and Delays

We will provide an estimated timeline for your deck project. However, timelines are estimates only and may be affected by weather conditions, material availability, permit approvals, and unforeseen site conditions.

We are not liable for delays beyond our reasonable control. We will communicate with you promptly about any delays and work to complete your project as quickly as possible.

Warranties and Guarantees

We stand behind the quality of our work. Labor warranties will be specified in your contract. Material warranties are provided by the manufacturers and will be passed through to you.

Warranties do not cover damage caused by misuse, lack of maintenance, accidents, natural disasters, or modifications made by others. To maintain your warranty, you must follow recommended maintenance procedures.

Changes and Cancellations

If you want to make changes to your project after work has begun, please contact us immediately. Change orders must be approved in writing and may result in additional costs and timeline adjustments.

Cancellation policies will be outlined in your service contract. Generally, deposits are non-refundable once materials have been ordered or work has begun.

Liability and Insurance

IdeaCraft Horizon West Decks is fully licensed and insured. We carry liability insurance and workers compensation insurance for your protection. You are not responsible for injuries to our workers while they are on your property performing contracted work.

Our liability is limited to the value of the services provided. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.

Property Access and Safety

You agree to provide safe access to the work site and to keep children and pets away from the construction area during work hours. We will make reasonable efforts to maintain a safe and clean work site.

You are responsible for marking any underground utilities, sprinkler systems, or other hidden features that could be affected by our work. We will contact local utility marking services, but you must inform us of any private systems.

Permits and Regulations

We will obtain necessary permits for your project as outlined in your contract. You are responsible for ensuring that your project complies with any homeowner association rules or deed restrictions. We are not responsible for delays or issues related to HOA approvals.

Intellectual Property

Any custom designs, plans, or drawings we create for your project remain our intellectual property unless otherwise specified in writing. You may use these designs for your contracted project only.

Dispute Resolution

If any disputes arise regarding our services, we encourage you to contact us first to resolve the issue directly. Most concerns can be addressed through open communication.

Any legal disputes will be resolved in the courts of Orange County, Florida, and will be governed by Florida state law.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
